CARING FOR YOUR BEAN BAG & LOUNGERS

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Mooi Living’s collection of bean bag and lounger covers are made from quality fabrics. However, just like with anything, the more you care for your bean bag the longer it will last!

Here’s a few tips on how to get the most out of your new lounger or bean bag chair.

Outdoor Bean Bags

Mooi Living’s outdoor collection is made of the very strong and durable fabric Olefin. Olefin fabric is less susceptible to stains, abrasions and weathering, but it still needs some TLC.

  • When you’re not using, please make sure to keep your outdoor bean bags in the shade and out of the harmful rays of the sun.
  • Store in a cool dry place when not in use
  • To prevent your lounger from fading, avoid excess exposure to sunlight.
  • While our outdoor range is mould resistant, if they are consistently wet and or damp, they may be prone to mould and mildew. In the event they do get wet, please ensure you allow them to dry out thoroughly. Additionally, keep undercover during wet weather.
  • Use a warm wet cloth and wipe over bean bag thoroughly.
  • For the bean bags with inner bags (Nevaeh, Lachlan, Chill UVs – natural & charcoal) you can put in for a gentle cycle wash. Please dry flat in the shade. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY.
  • PLEASE DO NOT DRY CLEAN OR USE ANY HARSH CHEMICALS

Polyester Outdoor Indoor Bean Bags

Our Unplug and Universal range of bean bags are made from a lovely  600D Polyester. While these bean bags can be used outside for picnics, garden parties and sunbathing, we do NOT recommend leaving them outside. Direct sunlight will fade these products. Salt water will also harm these products, so please ensure you bring these products in, when not in use.

GENERAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Vacuum dirt off bean bags during your weekly clean. We also suggest a regular clean up with warm damp cloth, followed with a final wipe over with a cooler wet cloth – this will help remove normal soiling. If there is a build-up of dirt, we recommend using warm soapy water and a soft brush, rinse off soapy water using a cold wet cloth. Allow to dry out thoroughly before use.

ZIPPER SAFETY AND PROTECTION

Please note: The zipper pullers have been removed from our products, so they are not accidentally opened by children, with possible hazard of suffocation. A paper clip is best used to open the bean bag cover to pour the beans in.

WARNING:

Children can suffocate if bean bag filling is swallowed or inhaled. Do not let children climb inside this bean bag. A bean bag is NOT A SAFE sleeping surface for an infant under 12 months of age.
