Made to live outside
Olefin is solution-dyed, so the colour runs right through the fibre. Leave it by the pool and wipe it down when you need to.
Holds its colour
Colour is locked into the fibre, not printed on.
Grade 8 UV protection
Made for long days in the Aussie sun.
Water resistant
Made for pool splashes and wet towels.
Mould resistant
Olefin won't grow mould on its own.
Why it outlasts cheap bean bags
The details you can't see in a photo are what make it last.
Inner bag / washable covers
Remove the cover and wash it on a cold, delicate cycle.
YKK zips & double-stitched seams
Child-safe locking zips keep beans away from little hands, and double-stitched seams hold strong, summer after summer.
Mesh drainage system
Mesh inner bags let water drain straight out, so it floats in the pool and dries off poolside.
Pool to Poolside
140cm wide, 180cm deep + a detachable pillow

Questions, answered
Can I use my pool float in the water?
Yes. Our Pool Floats are specifically designed for in-pool use.
Each float features a built-in drainage system that allows water to escape easily, helping them dry faster once you’re done relaxing.
Will I get wet on the pool float?
Well they are a Pool Float, so YES there is a very good chance you will get wet if you are in the pool.
Are your colours exclusive to Mooi Living?
Yes. Our Outdoor Bean Bags and Pool Floats are custom-designed for Mooi Living, meaning our colour palette is unique to us.
While you may see similar shades in the market, it’s unlikely you’ll find the exact same tones or fabric finishes elsewhere.
Will it get mouldy?
Olefin resists mould, but mould can still grow on dirt or damp left on the surface. Keep it clean and let it dry between wet days. Here's how to remove mould from an outdoor bean bag.
Are they heavy when wet?
Yes, they can be. The floats naturally absorb some water when in use, which adds weight.
To make drying easier, we recommend gently pulling them partly out of the pool and allowing the drainage system to release the excess water.
Do not try to lift the float while it’s full of water, as this can damage the seams or strain the fabric. You could also. hurt yourself.
Does the bean bag come with filling?
No. All Mooi Living bean bags are sold as covers only.
It’s much more economical to purchase filling from your local major retailer, such as Kmart, Big W or Target.
Including filling would make freight costs astronomical due to the bulk of beans - this keeps your shipping costs low.
Do the floats have inner bags?
Yes. All Mooi Living Pool Floats feature an inner mesh bag system, which keeps the beans securely contained while allowing water to flow through freely.
This makes cleaning and refilling easy while maintaining their structure and comfort.
Can I leave my bean bag outside all the time?
Yes - Olefin fabric is designed for outdoor use and can withstand exposure to sun and rain.
However, to extend the life of your bean bag, we recommend storing it under cover or in a dry area when not in use for long periods, especially during heavy rain or winter months.
Can I remove and wash the covers?
Yes. The outer covers are removable and machine washable.
Simply unzip the cover, remove the inner mesh bag, and gently machine wash on a cold, delicate cycle.
Always air dry in the shade.
