How to Fill Your Serena Armchair, Callie Armchair, and the Brooklyn Luxe Lounger

• Important information - Please do not fill the mesh bag directly - this is your interchangeable liner, designed to make transferring beans easier whenever you need to wash the cover.
• Grab a friend – Filling is easiest with two people: one to hold the bean bag open, and the other to pour the beans in.
• Choose your spot – Fill over a bath (with the plug in) or in a contained space to make clean-up easier.
• Use a funnel – Cut a large piece of cardboard into a funnel shape to guide the beans in and minimise spills.
• Filling- Use the zipper to disconnect the interchangeable bag from the chute. Fill the beans directly into the cover (not the interchangeable bag). The Interchangeable bag that is attached is for emptying the beans into when washing is required. Not to be used as an inner bag. Store this away safely for when required.  
• Fill gradually – Stop occasionally, gently shake and move the bean bag to help the beans flow into all areas.
• Check the fullness – It’s always easier to add more filling than to remove it. Start with less, test for comfort, and top up if needed.
• Pro Tip: Filling may be the trickiest part, but once your bean bag is full and settled, you’ll have a luxurious, stylish armchair that you’ll love for years to come.
• The Serena Armchair, Callie Armchair, and the Brooklyn Luxe Lounger may require a little shaping and manoeuvring to get the beans into all the right places. With a few adjustments, it will settle beautifully into form.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Spot clean with a damp cloth for minor spills. For a deeper clean, use the interchangeable bag by pouring your beans into the bag, ensure the zipper is fully closed, and machine wash on a cold gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry. For added protection, we recommend applying Scotchguard prior to use. Please note: covers on the foam-filled option can be more difficult to remove due to the nature of the filling.

PLEASE NOTE: The zipper pullers of the cover have been removed so they are not accidentally opened by children. A paper clip is best used to open the bean bag cover to pour the beans in.

PLEASE NOTE: We don’t sell polystyrene bean filling. As light as it is, it takes up a huge amount of space — which means the freight costs would be through the roof. It’s far more economical to grab your filling locally, and honestly, our warehouse simply doesn’t have the room to store mountains of beans. Thanks for understanding.
