Honestly, the hardest part is filling the bean bag, but you will absolutely love it once full!
APPROX FILLING:
DO NOT USE FOAM IN OUR POOL FLOATS- foam absorbs moisture, as a result, your float will get very heavy and potentially sink.
PLEASE NOTE: We don’t sell polystyrene bean filling. As light as it is, it takes up a huge amount of space - which means the freight costs would be through the roof.
It’s far more economical to purchase your filling from your local retailer such as Kmart, Big W or Target.

WARNING: Children can suffocate if bean bag filling is swallowed or inhaled. Do not let children climb inside this bean bag. A bean bag is NOT A SAFE sleeping surface for an infant under 12 months of age.
PLEASE NOTE: The zipper pullers of the cover have been removed so they are not accidentally opened by children. A paper clip is best used to open the bean bag cover to pour the beans in.
WARNING: This is NOT a toy or a life-saving device. Always supervise children. Do not use in rough water or near sharp objects.

Bean filling must be purchased separately from retailers like Kmart or Target (approx. $11 per 100L), as shipping filled bean bags would be costly and impractical.

❤️ CAN I USE MY POOL FLOAT IN THE WATER?
Yes. Our Pool Floats are specifically designed for in-pool use.
Each float features a built-in drainage system that allows water to escape easily, helping them dry faster once you’re done relaxing.
❤️ ARE YOUR COLOURS EXCLUSIVE TO MOOI LIVING?
Yes. Our Outdoor Bean Bags and Pool Floats are custom-designed for Mooi Living, meaning our colour palette is unique to us.
While you may see similar shades in the market, it’s unlikely you’ll find the exact same tones or fabric finishes elsewhere.
❤️ WILL I GET WET ON THE POOL FLOAT?
Well they are a Pool Float, so YES there is a very good chance you will get wet if you are in the pool.
❤️ ARE THEY HEAVY WHEN WET?
Yes, they can be. The floats naturally absorb some water when in use, which adds weight.
To make drying easier, we recommend gently pulling them partly out of the pool and allowing the drainage system to release the excess water.
Do not try to lift the float while it’s full of water, as this can damage the seams or strain the fabric. You could also. hurt yourself.
❤️ DO THE FLOATS HAVE INNER BAGS?
Yes. All Mooi Living Pool Floats feature an inner mesh bag system, which keeps the beans securely contained while allowing water to flow through freely.
This makes cleaning and refilling easy while maintaining their structure and comfort.
❤️ CAN I REMOVE AND WASH THE COVERS?
Yes. The outer covers are removable and machine washable.
Simply unzip the cover, remove the inner mesh bag, and gently machine wash on a cold, delicate cycle.
Always air dry in the shade.
❤️ HOW DO I LOOK AFTER MY POOL FLOAT?
To keep your float looking beautiful and lasting longer:
- Rinse off chlorine or saltwater after each use.
- Allow the beans and inner bag to dry completely before reassembling or storing — moisture can lead to odour or mould.
- Store in a shaded, dry area when not in use.
- Avoid dragging the float on rough surfaces to prevent wear on the fabric.

It’s far more economical for customers to purchase bean filling from their local major retailer, such as Kmart, Big W, or Target.
Including the filling would make freight costs very expensive due to the bulk of the beans.
❤️ CAN YOU USE FOAM IN THE FLOATS?
Absolutely NOT!!!
Foam absorbs water and can become extremely heavy, making it difficult to remove from the pool and could possible sink.
It can also retain water, causing unpleasant odours and an increased risk of mould or mildew.
Always use high-quality bean filling, which is lightweight, buoyant and allows proper drainage.
